Accomplishments

Logan has started to sleep a little bit better at night. As long as he eats enough during the day, he will sleep for a 5-6 hour stretch when he goes to bed for the night. We are still working on naps. He used to take one really good nap in the morning but has not been doing that lately. Usually it is 45 minutes and we are back up and playing. I can usually get Logan to take a really good nap if we go out and run a few quick errands and then I just let him sleep in his car seat rather than disturb his sleep. On the days when I lay him down for a nap in his bed, he will play with his stuffed animals and ends up pulling the blanket over his face while he sucks on it before falling asleep.

Logan has been doing a lot of new things lately. Last week he rolled over from his back to his tummy all by himself. He has done it a total of 4 times now. He doesn't quite know what to think about it. The other day he started to go from his tummy to his back and just had this look of terror on his face before he forced himself back to his tummy.

Another new thing that Logan has been doing is sitting up by himself. We usually sit him on the floor or in a chair and catch him before he falls to the side or backwards. While he is sitting he likes to pull on his toes or he tries to touch anything within reach. He loves to explore with his hands (especially your face).

Logan had a doctor's check-up on Thursday. He weighed 15 lbs and was 27 inches long. Percentage wise he was 50% on weight (so average) and on height he was 97% (way above average).

Baptism

I got an email that I have not posted anything recently. So I will post a little something before I head off to bed.
Logan was baptized on December 29th. He actually did really good through mass. When Tim lowered Logan to have Father Tom pour the water on his head, Logan gave a really big smile because that is how Aunt Beth puts him before she plays with him. Logan smelled like Chrism oil for a week or so after being baptized because Father Tom put a whole handful of oil on his head. It took about 3 or 4 baths to have him not smell like Chrism oil anymore.
